I am kicking off the blog tour for this lovely book about a tiger who loves to be with his friends and finds it hard when they go home.
Tiger is a much loved friend and he is always the life and soul of any party. But when the party is over and his friends have gone home, Tiger feels lonely, uncertain and like he doesn’t belong. His friends throw party after party in the hopes of cheering him up but the loneliness sets it after every one.
The friends continue to hunt for ways to cheer Tiger up and it is this wonderful friendship that gets celebrated throughout the story. The friends accept that Tiger has a range of emotions and they work together to find the right solution for him. It’s a beautiful story and one that many readers will resonate with.
It is a fine line between being lonely and feeling alone and this book will help readers to learn that being on your own is ok sometimes. The book is richly illustrated and I love the whimsical lines and colours throughout.
