Drum Roll please…..here is my review of the amazing, stupendous and funny story, The Wonder Brothers!
All of the books that I have read from Frank Cottrell-Boyce are charming, funny and have real world characters in them. These are exactly the children you know or have met- the quiet ones, the funny ones or the weird ones. They are the children with hopes and dreams, aspirations and challenges.
In this story, we meet Nathan and Middy, The Wonder Brothers- not actually brothers but cousins! Living in Blackpool, they are very familiar with the Blackpool Tower and when a world famous magician makes it disappear, the pair decide to find it!
Somehow, Nathan’s dream of being in Las Vegas comes true and they find themselves alone, lost and poor in one of the busiest cities in America. Not only that but they were supposed to be home for tea!
The story is epic and throughout the book, you will find brilliant illustrations from the WONDER that is Steven Lenton!

Without spoilers, this is a brilliant story of magic, mayhem and magicians! It’s also about family and friendship, hopes, dreams and wonder!
