Wonderful Water Blog Tour- #NNFN2023

It’s so great to be part of the bloggers tour celebrating the wondrous non-fiction books being published recently. I have been lucky enough to have Earth’s Aquarium to browse and read for this tour.

This book begins with the line, “Water is life”! What an apt beginning as we know much of our world is water based and the oceans are still relatively untouched by explorers. This book aims to share some wondrous places around the world that host ample life and its many forms.

Very much a non-fiction book for older readers, there is an amazing level of vocabulary and science within the explanations of water, life and place. All readers will be enthralled with the beautifully detailed illustrations. Acting almost like a seek and find, the joy of discovering a creature in the hidden grasses or in the deeps is exciting and as you turn the page, you can read about those in more detail.

Within the pages of the extra large book, you travel from the mudflats in Northern Europe through to the coral reefs in Australia and on to slow and fast moving fresh water, in Russia and South America.

What I love is that this book highlights types of water and styles of water that are often less considered. The Earth has so much beauty and this book will bring some unknowns to life for the reader.

Charming and an ideal gift book, check this one out!
