Tales of Truth and Treasure by James Haddell

It’s always great to support passionate authors and James is one of the best! His series is filled with Arthurian legend, links between past and present and a wonderful cast of characters!

This series has been an intriguing trip into Arthurian legend and one girl’s unknown history. We meet Tia in book one and discover there is much more to her story than thought. As we move through the series, secrets and treasures are uncovered and these provide as many questions as answers to Tia’s history.

In book four, we are firmly entrenched in the story now and I admit, I feel the need to start at the beginning of the series again. I love Tia and her adoptive family, especially Meghan, her feisty and firm new sister. They seem to have formed an unbreakable bond and Tia is certain in the love her family have for her.

What she is less certain of is her strange abilities and understanding of the Arthurian stories. They have been on a treasure hunt and it continues on their current trip to Wales. What secrets will they discover and what questions will find answers?

This is a fantastic series- adventurous, intriguing and heartwarming!
