Beastlands Race to Frostfall Mountain by Jess French

This is an awe inspiring adventure, one with incredible world building and characters.

You read the story from the three main characters perspectives, each from a different place and each dealing with hardship and pressure in varying ways. Alethea is mourning the loss of her father and trying to heal her people in the Blue District. Kayla is a Sky Rider who has a deep devotion to her pangron Faro and no friends to confide in. Rustus is trying to live up to his father and brothers’s reputations to be a Scorched Atari, a warrior protecting their realm.

As each leave their daily routine, they are drawn together towards an adventure worthy of saving the world. I love the intensity of each person and their reactions and relationships as they develop. The puzzle pieces fall into place perfectly as they search for their own paths, realising, they are to be united as three for a greater good.

With an ending that leaves you wanting more, this is a series not to be missed. It has action, adventure, thrilling creatures and a bond uniting our three heroes!
