What an amazing and enchanting story! This is a powerful story of family, community and magic, and one that will warm your heart and soul.

Alyssa is spending her summer in London with Auntie Jasmine, a relative of her mum’s that she has never met. While her recently split parents, do overtime and conferences, Alyssa will be navigating a new world.

When her homesickness literally destroys her aunt’s tea shop, Alyssa is told a secret, one involving magic. She comes from a long line of magical beings, each with a different strength but all with the power to use gardens, plants and tea for wondrous reasons.

Alyssa begins her training to be a keeper, discovering magical qualities of plants, the secrets held in the garden and allotment. She also has a plan to try to create a tea that will help her parents fall in love again.

Of course, there is trouble! The magic is failing and this impacts the community, garden and Auntie Jasmine, who becomes very ill. Can Alyssa, her cousins and new friends save this community?

Wonderfully imagined, this is such a heartfelt story.
