Elki is Not My Dog blog tour

This is a heartwarming story of a community coming together for the greater good of one much loved stray dog.

Elki belongs to all the children around the block of flats. She plays with them, runs with them but when they return to their homes, Elki must survive outside.

These stories are always hard on my heart as I love dogs but this is told with heart and compassion.

When Elki fails to appear one day, the group of children search for her and find her injured and unwell. They take her home and take turns nursing her back to health. Though Elki needed the basics to survive, she really needed a family.

The illustrations exude a sense of community and compassion and this story is an absolute joy to discover and share.
