Cosy Crime is dead…..so the story begins! It begins with a murder, one with a supernatural feel to it. One that is horrific and violent. However, these details are not the focus of this story. While the reader becomes embroiled in the mysteries surrounding a series of murders, they also delve into the nature of being a werewolf.
The victims are all werewolves and so is one of the lead investigators, Sage. She, along with poltergeist P, and Oren Rinallis are working hard to figure it all out.
Oren is a widely known warlock, known most for his own heinous acts committed when he was younger. His reputation proceeds him when he arrives anywhere. Sage and Oren battle for answers but also each other as feelings and emotions deepen.
It was such a compelling and complex read, I was constantly reading the evidence file that came with the proof, trying to figure it out. However, as with any truly great mystery, the answer, when revealed will shock and surprise you!
There are moments of intense thrilling excitement and others of frustration but ultimately you are invested in solving these murders!
