This wild adventurous tale begins with a mouse. This mouse is stealing seconds and minutes from the clocks in Connie’s world. Her headstrong curiosity encourages her to chase this one mouse only to discover a winding trail of mice with time stealing devices on their backs.
Where are they going and what reason could they have to steal time? Connie, her clock fixing friend Nevis and his mouse chasing cat are on the case and have entered into a strange race against time.
When Connie accidentally boards a train on the trail of someone who knows more than they let on, she finds herself in an alternate world where the motto seems to be “tick tock tick tock” and people race around from work to home and back again. Gone are the green spaces, children playing and leisure time. In their place are grey streets, homes and attitudes.
Connie is really up against time in this story but she is certainly determined enough to solve the problem of time theft and the Doomsday Clock…or is she?
