This book is an ode to families and the love that makes them strong. We know across the world that every family is different and in so many ways.
When Tia discovers her parents are separating, she is devastated and all of a sudden her world is not the same. When a school project about families needs to be presented, Tia is not sure what to say.
Her classmates present their families and Tia discovers that each one is entirely unique but rooted in love. I love this book and I admit that it brought a tear to my eye.
Lovingly written and illustrated, this would make a perfect gift for any family, but definitely ones that are undergoing some changes. It will help children to understand that love will hold them together even if they can’t live under the same roof as before.
