Intisar’s Aunt is getting married and there are so many wedding preparations and celebrations to look forward to. Intisar has been asked to join the Walima, a big group dance at the last wedding event. It has fancy dance moves and as Intisar begins practicing, she gets twisted and confused!
As the day for the Walima gets closer, Intisar gets more and more nervous, almost deciding not to take part. However, once she saw the group adding their own unique moves and routines, she quickly realised just how much fun being yourself can be!
Not only vibrant and beautiful, this story taught me a bit more about wedding celebrations from another culture and I immediately wanted to know more and discover more about the Walima!
