Tangletree Mysteries Blog Tour

These are exactly the type of book I would have loved to read growing up, and actually still love to read now! When I take my dog Nova for a walk and she disappears into the trees, I can imagine her joining Peggy and Stu for a mystery and adventure!

This series is charming and holds just enough mystery for a younger reader and plenty of details and illustrations for all ages. Peggy appears to be just a normal dog chasing a ball until she rustles through to Tangletree where an entire community await her arrival! Her trusty sidekick Stu is there with all the news and excitement.

In both adventures, Peggy must act and think quickly to help her Tangletree friends.  When a trumpet goes for an adventure, it is up to Stu and Peggy to chase it down and return it to its owner- though with pesky peskies around and a grumpy giant cat called Warrington, it won’t be easy!

And…

When Hannah builds a machine to create a racetrack, it suddenly develops a mind of its own and Peggy must try to tackle it before the competitors get hurt! In each story, the community come together and it is a lovely place to be.

I love that Peggy trots out of the trees back to her owner as though nothing has happened! Just brilliant and what a way to kickstart imaginations into what might happen next time Peggy visits.
