This was such a compelling and complex story. I was certainly hooked and admit, I only came to the correct conclusion towards the very end and that is just how I like it.
Grace and her Dad have moved to Rosewood, a small town in Devon. The move has become a necessity since Grace had some serious issues in London. These aren’t fully explained or explored until you continue to read further. We know there was a death and can speculate but nothing is confirmed.
Grace and BFF Maddy, love science and setting experiments with hypothesis, evidence and conclusions. Grace stumbles onto a series of mysterious deaths in the town and becomes obsessed with figuring it all out. She has case files, complex Venn diagrams and multiple conclusions, many of which are wrong and cause a lot of problems for the families in the town.
It is a creative murder mystery and while not everyone is guilty of murder, there is plenty of wrongdoings by many in the town. Grace and her dog, Shelby, find themselves locked in plenty of dangerous situations and are both lucky to be alive.
A fantastic and gripping story! I couldn’t put it down and was captivated all throughout.
