A spooky yet sweet story about Mo! Mo, or Monday the Sixteenth as he is formally known is a Warden in Bogfoss- the newest warden in town, and, perhaps, the worst!
Slow, scared and not brave at all, Mo finds himself beaten at the first hurdle of monster hunting. The town ridicule him and he feels horrible so he decides to come up with a plan to redeem himself as a hero.
Straying into the forbidden forest surrounding the town, Mo believes he will capture a monster and bring it home to show the town how brave he is. However, the forest has other plans for Mo- ones that you may not expect and that is the rather brilliant bit of the story.
Mo discovers some hidden secrets, a long buried hero and more friends than he has ever known, but he still needs to prove himself- but to himself more than his town.
This charming story is one to inspire courage, being yourself and accepting others for who they are. It is filled with some of the best monster characters I’ve read and I truly hope for more from this series!
