I lost track of time today and it was due to this remarkable story, Vanya and the Wild Hunt. Publishing in March, I expect this will take the world by storm. It is thrilling, exciting and filled with incredible magic and wild creatures.
Vanya runs home from school to collect her forgotten homework and discovers her parents hurt and fighting against “the bogeyman”! While it takes her by complete surprise, her love for them gives her the boost to step in and help. This brings an entire list of questions about who they are, what the bogeyman wanted and enters her into a world of magic.
When she heads to Auramere, a school for archlings, archwitches in training, she discovers so much and she finally finds a place where she fits in. She no longer has to mask who she really is and can find her own strengths.
There are deep secrets being hidden from Vanya and she is determined to discover answers, even though they may be hard for her and her family. So much happens and you can’t help but be in awe of Vanya’s strength throughout her adventure.
I just adored every page of this book and may have to read it again ahead of publication. This is definitely heading on my top picks list for 2025!
