I thought I would tell you a bit more about me as a reader! If you dare, do share your hidden truths with me!
- I am a mood reader- meaning that I will choose my next read based on what I am in the mood for, completely disregarding my TBR!
- I am a harsh judge of covers and sometimes will not want to read a book because the cover is unappealing to me. It’s a bit wrong but somehow it works for now.
- I never dog ear pages but I use anything random as bookmarks- even though I own several bookmarks. Receipts, elastics, pencils, scraps of paper will all fall out of my book when I pick it back up.
- Mystery is my favourite genre and I will always aim for these from any TBR. I very rarely solve them ahead of the main character and that is just how I like it.
- I go through frequent losses of reading mojo due to the busy nature of my work and family. But I can also catch up by solely reading over a weekend.
- When we moved house, we created a library and home office and it is my favourite room in the house. I keep my must keep titles and my TBR in there.
I think it’s also worth mentioning that I am struggling with work at the moment and the on-going uncertainty of the future in my field. I haven’t had the head space to read or be active on socials as I have been in the past so forgive the silence!
