After the success of book one, I was delighted to be back with Barracuda Class as they continue to plot and plan ways to deal with The League of True Pirates, a devilish group intent on ruling the seas. Check out my review of New Kid on Deck below.

Jacoby and Neo form part of Jasmine’s crew for Oceans Bound, a 48 hour adventure for Year 5’s. They are set a series of challenges and destinations to reach and must do so completely independently. The first day goes well for all teams but the second day is plagued with trouble.
It seems that Jasmine, Jacoby and Neo are playing a different game with more dangerous consequences, all due to Jasmine’s Uncle Noah, who has recently escaped from prison. He is a ring leader for LOT P and a dangerous man.
This is a true swashbuckling adventure with a cast of characters so real, they make anyone want to become a pirate. Courageous, loyal and deadly with a weapon, this class is exceptional. They stick together and face danger head on, all while dealing with news and tough choices involving families and loyalties.

Missing at Sea delivers some hard truths for our Barracudas but they are elite, well trained pirates, fighting for the side of good. When we find them in Sword Echoes, our group has split up. Neo is now searching for answers left by his mother while Jacoby and Jasmine hunt for more clues to bring down LOT P!
This exciting story shows just how elite this group are- from duplicity to courage and for Neo, special powers awaiting him. Another journey awaits Jasmine as she makes a bold statement to her family and she must forge ahead and be true to herself. Jacoby is proving himself a brilliant actor and leader, which will open up new doors for him upon returning to the Academy.
I can’t quite believe I need to wait for book 4 and hope it isn’t too long a way- this series goes from strength to strength with such a powerful cast of characters. Even the villains are brilliant!
