The Last Wolf by Rob Biddulph

The most epic proof arrived and I could not contain my excitement! Check it out below, along with my review!

Rob Biddulph is one of those author illustrators who seem to have this magical ability to create wonderful books from picture books to exciting middle grade chapter books. All with his trademark illustrations and heart.

In this new series, we meet Jax and Jovi, twins living with their Meemaw while their parents are working away. They are best friends with Esau and Fourth- and altogether the are the Moonlighters.

They live in a world where fear is part of their evening routine, a curfew being in place due to stories and legends involving werewolves. Their town is closely guarded by Nighthawks and Hunters who work for London Pike, a famous leader. When their new friend, Purple, warns the Moonlighters of danger, Jax chooses not to listen and runs off on his own.

The rest of the group go home but Fourth witnesses an attack on Purple and the group run away together to find the truth they seek. What they discover is huge and much more dangerous than they could have imagined. It is worth noting just how brilliantly villainous the villain in this story is!

With so many amazing illustrations and a hugely exciting plot, this book will be very popular with young readers. It has heart, humour and adventure. The characters are unique, courageous and determined, set to inspire the reader to be brave and bold as well.
