This week, I spotted the second book in the Cruise Ship Kid series on NetGalley and it was such a quick “request”! Diving in, I was delighted to be back with Silver and The Gang, although this time, they are on a much larger cruise ship. There is so much more to explore and more places to hide things.
Silver, at 10, is super keen to have her own phone and when she meets influencer, Kindness Kay, she is compelled to prove just how good she would be with a phone. Unfortunately, The Gang and Silver soon find themselves back on the case- this time to find Kay who has been kidnapped!
The kidnapper has promised to return Kay when they dock in Southampton but they have several days at sea. Silver and The Gang get firmly stuck in and as the reader, you can join in. With pages to record notes, answer questions and doodle, the reader has a fun role to play.
This is such a fantastic series. It’s fun, silly and honestly, the characters leap off the page. Every member of The Gang is superbly written. Can’t wait for the next adventure and mystery!
