SuperQuesters The Case of the Angry Sea

Welcome to the final stop on the blog tour for SuperQuesters The Case of the Angry Sea! I am always so grateful to be asked to be part of the blog tours for this series.

When the first book was published, I used it with a class of Reception and Year 1 children. They loved the book and were intrigued by the activities and puzzles related to the story. We worked through the first book together and with every new book in the series, I deliver it to the school for those same children who are now a bit older.

Though the activities and stories are geared for UKS1, the children who enjoyed the first are even more capable of completing the STEM activities now and they love the familiarity of the characters and environmental themes.

With The Case of the Angry Sea, we learn more about the pollution in our waterways from oil spills to plastics and including sustainability.

As the trio of friends travel to Questland, they turn into their Quest characters of Lillicorn, Bea Bumble and Leo Zoom. They now have a map and need to clean up the oceans and find the tanker, the Oily Rag. Their quest is a big one but this trio learn as they travel and use their knowledge to solve the problems.

Interactive, fun and engaging, these STEM stories will inspire young readers to discover more about the world around them and to do what they can to protect that world!
