Merrybourne School is a boarding school unlike any other, and the new students have arrived in time for orientation and meeting each other ahead of the new school term.
Andy, or Aniruddha, is looking forward to immersing himself and becoming a surgeon. On his first day he meets some new people, some who will become friends, and others who won’t. What none of the students expect is to face each other in a series of deadly challenges.
Andy and a group of 4 students form the Lost Name Society and ally together to face each challenge but these get harder and scarier each day. They have formed a strong bond due to them each using a nickname or shortened version of their true name. Somehow this gives them more strength than they realise.
This is a brilliant storyline, and one that races through at speed! At just under 200 pages on NetGalley, the action is fast paced and the conversations are vital between the friends. It’s a great story for friendships, valuing yourself and finding inner strength to do what is right for your friends.
I hope there may be more from this group of friends and the story of Merrybourne!
