Advent is what started my blog two years ago and it is still a highlight on the calendar for my family. We have done all sorts of Advent celebrations since my kids were little, from plain chocolate to mini toys, and of course books.
I didn’t manage a book advent this year but all our books are out near the bedrooms for picking and choosing each evening. Familiar favourites intermingled with new, classics, picture and chapter. There is something for all of us this Christmas.
Four brilliant books await the beginning of Advent…from lift the flaps, to a chapter a day. I love these books as they stand the test of time over the month of December. We start with these books on December 1 and though we plow our way through many more books, we keep pulling these out to check each day.
