The entire book is filled with two colour illustrations and they are amazing. Full of details and so engaging they way they enhance the story. I love illustrated fiction and it acts as such a bridge for young readers building their stamina and interests. Monsieur Mustard is quite dashing in his suit and monocle and I think he will soon be a favourite character for young readers.
I really hope this is the start of a new series for Monsieur Mustard as I would happily begin collecting them all. Mysteries are my favourite genre after all!
