A group of vastly wealthy teens head off for spring break on a private yacht to a private resort in the Florida Keys. Five of the group have known each other since Kindergarten and are completely intertwined. The sixth member of the group is the owner of the yacht, the island and is the planner of this trip.
While Ant, the newest group member, doesn’t have the history like the others, he does seem to know a lot and is heavily involved in their lives, though none would admit, they don’t really like him.
While the trip is meant to be fun and filled with sun and time off, it turns deadly very quickly as a murder takes place and a deadly storm rips through the island, cutting them all off completely.
The trip is auspiciously timed as the original sixth member of the group died of drowning exactly a year ago and there are untold secrets being held by everyone. Will truths come out and will the group make it off the island?
Each chapter is written by a different character and the book flips from present day to the week before so you are constantly gleaming information and trying to piece it all together.
It is a phenomenal story and I couldn’t have guessed what was really happening! When it all gets explained, I am sure your jaw will drop as mine did!
It’s a brilliant showcase of the talents that each of the six writers brought to the book. I was hooked instantly with this book and need to read their other collaborations, Blackout and Whiteout!
