Three Words to describe this book: Funny, adventurous, medical mystery

Mini Review: This is the second in the series by Dr Roopa Farooki. She has an incredible way of writing for children that is a blend of medical science alongside a fun and exciting adventure. This book has double the twin power as Ali and Tulip are joined by Zac and Jay. All of their parents are in the hospital, either working or recovering and the twins will need to work together, and try to get along, to solve the mystery.

A familiar face turns up again in book two but something is different about him and they must figure that mystery out alongside the mystery of the retirement home where they are spending their holiday. Of course Gran is involved and is an integral cog in solving the mysteries.

There is plenty of danger, peril and rather impressive people from the older generation doing some incredible stunts!

Read this for a fun, rollicking adventure with some important lessons in medicine thrown in! I love the dynamic of the twins as pairs and when they join forces and their personalities really clash. Gran is a formidable character, still hiding some secrets from them all. I do hope there are more from this series as I am loving the mysteries the twins get roped into!
