It’s her first day on the job and she is feeling nervous and excited. Unfortunately, when the old captain left, some of the crew left with him, leaving the ship short staffed. Bella approaches every hurdle with her own flair and style, making her an instant hit with the remaining crew and the passengers.
However, the old captain made sure this cruise wouldn’t be very successful, ordering less food and fuel. The crew must pull together and work hard to make sure they and their guests have a brilliant time.
With the same wonderful illustrations as Hotel Flamingo, this new series is sure to be a huge hit with young readers. I loved Bella and the fact that she was honest and true to herself. She approached every situation with kindness and care, something young readers will hopefully learn from.
