It’s my stop on the blog tour for Undercover Angel, Grounded by Lisa J Allen. This is the second book in this series featuring Phoebe Speedwell as the main character! Phoebe has been sent to the human realm in book one to banish some banshees, but things didn’t quite go to plan.
Her BFF, Chloe, is a banshee and she didn’t get banished with her family. Book two picks up from the cliffhanger in book one where there is something downstairs and the pair need to find out what!
They discover a three-headed hellhound and another trainee Angel, Adrian! He has been sent to rid the world of the hellhound but he keeps disappearing. It is up to Phoebe to try to help but she has a poor track record for helping without rather unfortunate consequences.
Phoebe is a brilliant character, one who is a powerful Angel but a weird human. It’s funny how she doesn’t quite understand the way humans use language. While her heart is in the right place, she struggles to follow the rules.
A great series for readers who like mayhem and mischief plus some otherworldly creatures!
